Stories from Madeleine Albright's Jewel Box
Virtual Docent Tour
Friday, November 18
10:30 - 11:30 am
A Presentation from the National Museum of American Diplomacy (The Museum is scheduled to open in 2024.)

Madeleine Albright collected pins and used them to send a message. Her collection is notable for its historic significance as well as for demonstrating the power of jewelry and its ability to communicate through a style and language all its own.  The brooches became Albright's diplomatic signature.

All the pins are striking; many are exceptionally beautiful. From 2009 to 2018, the pins exhibition was on display at 22 museums and presidential libraries and museums. The pins currently reside at the National Museum of American Diplomacy which will open in 2024.  Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about these pins.

To register, email information.fhnn@gmail.com  with "Pins" in the subject line. This tour is for FHNN and Little Falls Village members and volunteers as part of our collaboration.
