FREE GUIDED MEDITATION: “Mindfulness, Healing and Compassion” with Nick Thurston on Thursdays at 11 am (Eastern Time) starting Thursday, January 16. Email Little Falls Village to join, info@littlefallsvillage.org.

Our meditation guide is Nick Thurston. Thurston is a mindfulness facilitator, writer, and Zen student. Nick embarked on a journey of insight and healing after a series of losses forced him to engage with long-held questions about the nature of self. The resultant period of spiritual inquiry brought him to the “gateless gate” of meditation, where he was fortunate to find many great mentors. Among these was widely beloved teacher Henry Shukman, under whose guidance he received his certification as a facilitator. He is also a dedicated Zen student in the Sanbo Zen lineage, and hosts regular sitting groups in his home city of Los Angeles, CA.
