About this event

As one of the most visited modern art museums in the US, The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden is an art museum beside the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The museum was initially endowed during the 1960s with the permanent art collection of Joseph H. Hirshhorn. It was designed by architect Gordon Bunshaft and is part of the Smithsonian Institution.  This event is in conjunction with Little Falls Village. We will meet at the Information desk at the main entrance on Independence Avenue at 12:50. A Docent led one hour tour will be followed by another hour of free time for a 3:00 pm departure back to Chevy Chase.
